Military Kids Club (MKC) Heroes supports children who have a parent or close relative serving in the Armed Forces. The club provides a safe and welcoming space where pupils can connect with others who share similar experiences.
Children from military families may need extra support during deployments or long periods of separation, which can sometimes be difficult to talk about with peers who do not face the same challenges. MKC Heroes ensures every child has a voice and encourages members to support one another, building strong friendships, particularly during times of need.
All military children are invited to attend a weekly session led by Miss Tullett. These sessions include a variety of activities such as games, crafts and creative projects, alongside opportunities for pupils to chat and support one another. The club helps children develop friendships, confidence and a strong sense of belonging within the school and local community.
