On Wednesday, the humanities I-pupils went on a walk around Torpoint to learn more about it’s geography, history and religious aspects. We begun by walking to Antony House, back to Benodet park, down to the lawns, then on to St James’ Church and finishing at the ferry at Rendal Park. The children learned lots of new information about their local area, from before Torpoint was a town, to battles out on the river, to the ever changing ferries. It was a wonderful morning and the children were brilliant.
