On Monday myself and our head pupils, Jasmine and Owen, attended the raising of the flag for the Commonwealth ceremony at Sparrow Park with TNIS, TCC, town councillors and Deputy Lady Mayor. It was a lovely opportunity to meet members of the community and to share our commitment to the values of the Commonwealth via an affirmation that we all repeated. Squash and biscuits in the library and a tour around the archives followed – what a lovely morning!
