At the start of every lesson we revisit previous learning from past lessons, past weeks, past months or past topics to see how much the children have remembered and to reteach a concept, fact or skill. The KIRFs from previous years are sometimes used here. By using the science of building neural pathways by learning something over and over again, this is proving to be a vital start to each lesson.
