The MKC children had a great time by the pond and discovering the different wildlife living in the school pond. They were particularly excited about the tadpoles and the newts! Some of the children were even brave enough to hold the newts.
What an amazing assembly it was today. The comments about our fabulous children were mind-blowing considering all that they have been through recently. So many brilliant ‘Heads’, awesome ‘Hands’ and wonderful ‘Hearts’. Well done Carbeile, you did us proud again.
As part of our social skills, we had a boardgames afternoon to help us build skills in listening, teamwork and problem solving. It also gave us the opportunity to show sportsmanship and celebrate those who won the games.
In line with our Great Fire of London topic, we made tudor houses out of cardboard boxes, recreated Pudding Lane and had our own Great Fire! It was red hot!

Mrs Sales has set a new times table challenge for the children at Carbeile. Children are learning the 36 key times table facts and to achieve it children must complete the challenge in under 1 minute. These 3 children in Year 5 have all achieved this today. What an amazing achievement – well done!
