What a year it has been! These 4 assemblies just served to remind me what outstanding staff and children we have at Carbeile Junior School. The comments were so beautiful and I was genuinely overwhelmed by how proud everyone (including me) is of our awesome children. Well done everyone.

We took great pleasure in celebrating NHS Social Care and Frontline Workers Day on 5th July. Out team captains went to Sparrow Park with Mr. Long, where they met local dignitaries and celebrated these amazing NHS workers.
Wow, were there some stunning reasons for awards today. the children also chose their own thought for the day, Daily Act of Collective Worship and, as usual, our children did us proud with lots of messages about kindness and respect. Well done Team Carbeile, you are amazing!
This afternoon, Year 4 had a Carbeile Olympic Day where we completed various activities including archery, seated volleyball, throwing events, jumping events and track events. We also discussed Olympic Values and the principles you should follow during sports competitions.
